Prologue

Life has been the best this couple of months, I have the perfect career, the most kick ass fan around, and the perfect man, or so I thought.


Chapter 1

It was a late Friday night, I have just flown from New York back To my home in Texas, I have been doing so much interviews, promoting my new album “Breakaway”, I was so tired, all I wanted was to see my 1 year long boyfriend, David Hodges. I wanted to surprise him, because I was supposed to be back until Monday. It seemed so weird that all the lights were off. I grabbed my keys and opened the door, I didn’t see David anywhere,

“David….Are you there?”

There was no answer, maybe he went to sleep early, who knows, I quietly walked up the stairs, not to wake him, I quietly opened the door, I couldn’t believe what I saw, David was in bed with a other woman.

“David, how could you?”

“Kelly!”

“yeah, that’s my name in case you forgot”

“I can explain”

“explain what, that you are in bed with some slut, I don‘t want to hear anything from you anymore, I wish you will fuckin burn in hell”

Suddenly the so known slut came up from the cover,

“you can’t talk to my fiancé like that”

“fiancé, fiancé, what the hell David, you been cheating on me all this time I‘ve been away, I thought you loved me, I see that you didn’t, how could you propose to that that……AGH, get out! This is my house get your fealty stuff out, and leave take your whore with you, I don’t want to see you anymore, hope ya’ll have a nice life!”

I couldn’t help it but crying like a baby, I thought David would never do that to me, I loved him so much, I can’t believe he cheated to me, I needed some way to cope with this so I got a piece a paper and started writing,

“I hope the ring you gave to her
Turns her finger green
I hope when your in bed with her
You think of me
I would never wish bad things
But I don’t wish you well
Could you tell by the flames that burned your words”

Chapter 2

It’s been a month now ever since that ungrateful moment in my life, finding the love of my life, was engaged with some slut. I couldn’t believe it, but say life goes on. I was about to go back on tour, when something unexpected happened.

It was a stormy Saturday night, I was staring out the window, watching the rain drops drop, wondering why a sudden illness, I’ve been throwing up all night, I was getting sick of it. one horrible thought went through my mind, what if I was, no I couldn’t be, but I might, I needed to prove it, I called my best friend Ashley asked her for a huge favor, minutes later she arrived with the “favor”,

“Hey ash thank you so much”

“Anything for my best friend, So you think you may be..”

“I don’t know, but if I am, it’s David‘s”
