Just Want to Know
Kelly stood out on the side of the curb of the busy L.A. streets. She watched speeding cars go pass her. Streaks of blue, red, and yellow orange lights were the only images of the cars you could see. The cool breeze blew through her brown curly hair. She folded her arms over her chest to keep warm, and continued to look for her limo to come by. Suddenly she felt two strong, muscular arms wrap around her. She forgot he was with her. The man that would wipe her tears, the man that would reassure her everything would be okay, the man that would always compliment her on how beautiful she was, the one who sang her to sleep every night. The man she’d love forever.
“Where is he?” Kelly whined leaning her head back into his hard chest.
“Don’t blame it on him, baby. Traffics busy.” Justin said looking down at her. He kissed her shoulder as she turned around and wrapped her arms around him.
They stood there for a few minutes in that position. Kelly’s limo pulled up and they let go of each other. Justin and Kelly gave each other a kiss good-bye. The driver stepped out of the car and opened the door for her.
“Hey Bells?” Justin asked pulling her lightly by the hand lightly to face him.
“Huh?” Kelly responded.
“You know I love you and always will?”
“Yeah, of course I do. Why?” Kelly asked smiling lightly, getting into the limo.
“Just wanted to know.”
